Omgosh, it is a HILARIOUS routine everytime I get the white Frontline box out of the pantry at the beginning of every month.
Bella could be all the way at the other end of the house and she will hear it and immediately hide. Then, of course, I have to search for her crouched down somewhere.....this past time it was in the guest bathroom, almost in the shower. (She thought about it when I walked in)
I then have to draaaagggggggggg her out into the kitchen and hold her between my legs so that I can apply the medicine to her back. She acts like shes about to get killed!!! I mean, it IS DRAMATIC!
After the medicine has been applied she paces in circles around the house.....no point at all.......just walks in circles. She is WACKO!
Here is a video of the ending to the pacing.....it slows down after about 30 minutes. At the beginning it is a full- fledged TROT, then slows to a snail speed mope around the kitchen table.......
In addition to her CATASTROPHE of a day due to Frontline, Bella also has an allergy on her paw.
I will wake up in the middle of the night and hear her licking...........licking...........licking........at 2:45 in the morning. Nothing more annoying than that........so I decided we were going to put a sock on her last night so that it will heal.
Well, I'm sure you can guess how "Dramatic Darla" acted to this.........
The pictures say it all: (second one she wont even look at me)
Anyway, hopefully things get better around here...... say prayers for us. :)
I am happy to report that Bruce LOVES to be in Rusty's cage. I went outside this morning and he was sitting outside the dog house in the sunshine. :) Warms my heart! Glad that he finally found his "place" out here.
It is a warm sunny day today, and Jerad and I have plans to do some yard work. Much needed!
Have a great weekend everyone!!! :) Soak up the sunshine!!
