Spot of tea.

The above picture is from this morning's tea time that I had with my Grandma and Grandpa Lemmon.
I not only wanted to show the ADORABLE tea bag saucer that says, "I will hold the teabag," but I also wanted to take a minute to say how much these moments mean to me.
I went into work today around noon, so I was able to walk over for a short visit with them, which turned into an hour and a half visit over a hot cup of Raspberry Tea..........Cherished time that I am so thankful I have.
Even though my grandpa is less than interested in the "girl talk"- he will walk to the living room and start reading the paper, then come back when he hears that we have switched subjects to the weather or something that he can chime in on.   :)          The three of us have conversations that span the range of the upcoming holidays, my Dad's recent pine tree trimming, the leaves on the ground, the gumball tree that still has green leaves, the squirrels that visit their kitchen window in the morning, their grocery trip yesterday, etc.   It's the simple things in life.    The simple things that tend to get over looked in this rat race we live in.

I was very thankful that I had this moment today before walking into "Corporate America."
Helped me to keep a cheerful attitude that I am a very lucky girl who has an extravagant family, great friends, everything I could ever want, and someone who loves me more than words can say.

Thankful I am....for that spot of tea.
