When I look at my life one year ago, I cannot believe the changes that have happened over the past 365 days.
I am a little late here (5 days), but Memorial Day was the day that Jerad asked me to be his girlfriend. Remember? "Will you be my girlfriend? Check YES or NO."
I am so so so so thankful that God has brought me to him. (I'm already crying typing this....) I never thought that someone could mean SO much to me. So much. Each day I find something about him that I fall even more in love with. Here is an example: Jerad, the other day, left his radio in the truck on 101.5 (newest hit station) so that he could start to learn some songs and be able to enjoy them/dance with me. Mind you, Jerad only listens to country/ rock/ old rock etc. He's not into Gaga, Rhianna, Black Eyed Peas.....in fact he has several "made" CD's that say, "NO RAP!" on them. :) Anyway, he is now starting to enjoy some Black Eyed Peas and all of the above singers, and we dance crazy in the car together....laughing hysterically at the funny dance moves we make up. :)
These are the things that I'm talking about...... I never thought that I could have someone that would ON THEIR OWN want to just start listening to a different music- just so we could enjoy it together. That is what love is about......seriously.
There are so many things that have been said about love, and the feelings it brings you and they are all true....each and every one of them. When you're in love- nothing else matters.....just as long as you're together. I cherish each and every moment that Jerad and I spend together because each and every one is so special. Even if its as simple as watering the flowers in the front yard.....we do it together and we laugh the whole time.
This past year has shown me that in the blink of an eye, your whole world can change. I never thought this time last year that I would be planning a 9|10|11 wedding. &&& now I am 3 months away from marrying my best friend. Jerad has shown me the true/full meaning of love. I have never felt more beautiful, loved, special in all my life. (my parents made/make me feel this way....but you know what I mean....its a different love coming from your soul mate). :)
Here is the first of many, many, many anniversary pictures.....
I know I have said it a million times in this blog, but I am so so so thankful for Jerad Ryan each and every day. He has made me laugh more than I ever could before, smile at times when I would usually be crying, and enjoy life in a different way because I am madly in love.
God, thank you OH SO VERY much for bringing Jerad and I together. You have a way about you that I continue to be amazed by. I promise to YOU that I will cherish every moment with him, and not take advantage of our time because you truly have brought together....a match made in heaven. Amen.
